Preparing your devices for donation

Thank you for donating! Your contributions make a huge difference. To ensure we can actually use your device and to protect your personal privacy, please follow these steps before dropping off your electronics.

⚠️ CRITICAL NOTE: We cannot use devices that are "Cloud Locked." If you do not sign out of your Apple (iCloud) or Google accounts, the device becomes permanently locked and we have to recycle it instead of reusing it.

Below are some extra steps you can take to ensure your devices make the biggest impact possible. If you have a donation that is not specifically mentioned here and you have further questions regarding how to prepare to donate, please feel free to reach out to us at (828) 209-8872 and we will be happy to help you.
